We didn’t start this business as outsiders looking for opportunity. We started it as long-time solar consultants who grew increasingly frustrated. For years, we spent our careers watching shady salespeople and fly-by-night installers flat-out lie to customers just to close a deal. These bad actors never faced consequences. Instead, they just ruined the reputation of the entire industry, making it harder for ethical consultants to do their jobs and leaving thousands of people convinced that solar was just a scam.
